A VIDEOTAPE AUDITION |

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND A VEE AUDITION IN PERSON YOU
MAY SUBMIT AN AUDITION VIDEOTAPE, VHS-C OR STANDARD FORMAT DVD, A COVER LETTER, RESUME
AND HEADSHOT VIA MAIL.

ALL VIDEOTAPE SUBMISSIONS SHOULD INCLUDE:

At the beginning
of your audition tape include a full-length shot
of yourself. |
| • |
Take 4 beats and
then state your name clearly. |
| • |
Then state the city
and state you are located in and the date. |
| • |
The tape should not
exceed five minutes in length. |
| • |
Be sure to put a
label on the audition tape with your name, height,
city, date and length of tape. |
IF YOU WISH TO BE CONSIDERED
FOR MORE THAN ONE TYPE OF ROLE, THEN YOUR VIDEO SHOULD
INCLUDE THE REQUIRED ELEMENTS FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING
TYPES.
YOUR FULL BODY COSTUME ROLE
VIDEOTAPE SHOULD INCLUDE:

Include 30 seconds
of each dance style you know. (You must have a strong
technical ability in jazz and Broadway musical dance
styles.) |
YOUR LIVE CHARACTER ROLE VIDEOTAPE SHOULD INCLUDE:

Include 30 seconds
of each dance style you know. |
| • |
Prepare 16 bars each
from two different songs - one ballad & one
up-tempo song. (These songs can be sung acappella,
with an instrumental tape or with an accompanist.) |

Include an upbeat
one-minute monologue. No dramatic monologues please. |
YOUR PUPPETEER VIDEOTAPE SHOULD INCLUDE:

Tape a 90-second
routine with hand/rod-puppet. |
| • |
Include two verses
of the puppet singing the children's folk song "She'll
Be Comin' Round the Mountain" (Hint - 2nd Verse
is "She'll Be Drivin' Six White Horses.") |
NOTE FOR ALL ROLES - If your
audition videotape includes any additional video from
previous productions, please identify your location and
costume/character or puppet in each piece.
YOUR COVER LETTER SHOULD INCLUDE:
